Hi Nick and co.
I'm Putting an Audi AEB 1.8T into a Mk2 Golf running standard management and would like to remap it and if possible remove the immobiliser so I can run it without having to put the Audi clocks and keys in.

Probably got lost in the "Great Crash of 08

Hello,

What year is your AEB engine? 1998?

Are you keeping the engine hardware to standard specs? or are you going for bigger bhp gains?

The main chip will have to be removed from the ECU and we will have to write the file direct to the chip . At the same time we should be able patch the immobiliser to bypass the KEY and cluster immo ring.

Nick

Thanks for the speedy reply Nick :)

The car is an N reg so early DBC version with K03 turbo from an Automatic. Mods wise I've not decided yet! Just in the process of pulling the engine out of the Audi might go for a ko3s and some other choice mods :) Would be cool if I could have the immob removed as that saves me loads of hassle, I'll get the ECU code tommorow for you to have a look at and you can tell me whats what :) I have also heard the AUG or AGU ECU can be used as the connectors are the same but I can't see any advantage to this.

The Immo data is in the 8 pin on the board marked 24C02 on earlier ECU's the latter ME7's it's a 95040
