Anyone got some pictures of debadged and/or dehandled boots?
I reckon the boot could look awesome with the VW logo/handle removed, but I've never seen one. I imagine it's pretty tough to do too. Has anyone here tried before?
Any pictures of boots without the Golf/GTI badges would be cool too
Thanks!

Actually the removal of the rear vw emblem exposes numerous small holes in the black plastic backing. These holes are used by the emblem to snap into the black backing plate.

de-badging completely wont be that easy as the boot is raised around the emblem.

sounds a bit daft to me, probably one of the nicest/coolest features of the exterior of the car.

aye, looks a bit plain. If you were to go down the route removal of the GTI badge and maybe smooth the horizontal line in in the bumper (cutting through the licence plate). For that smoothed out look.

Ouch
Yeah it's not nearly as nice as I'd imagined. Scrap that idea then
