blimey idling at 7000rpm!  better sort it soon before engine blows up :grin:
reason just fiddling wi idle screw effects nothing is becasue the ecu is compensating for the change, you need to put it into setup mode before fiddlin with the screw does owt.  That being said 700rpm is pretty damn low for a digifant!  Have a read thru me digi faq, see if a quick tuneup helps.

Well tried a new MFA and no difference at all so decided to sell the beast, thanks for all your help.
Oh, and just arrived at my parents to use PC and as I pulled up it a split a water hose so ive now gotta try and source one of them and find a way to get home, just love it.

is this by using the MFA button's and reving the car 3 times with the blue sensor unplugged ??

revving the engine with sensor unplugged yes, the mfa trick doesnt do anything but show the digital rev counter to make setup easier ;)
