Hi guys, im new to the forum, i have a 2000my golf gti 20v turbo, i have a rumbling noise from my gearbox and have been advised its the diff carrier bearings, im unsure wether to replace the bearings and how hard is it to do, can it be done in situe, or better with a new gearbox, if anyone has had these done it be grateful if they could let me know how much it cost them cheers guys!
