the pics dont do it justice, the mushroom/fungus had wee traily roots, strangest thing i have seen.
the guy i bought it from stayed out in the sticks so probably picked up a spore and transfered of feet into the wet footwell and grew.

ha ha this thread made me laugh
so thought id add a bit

i remember bein in my gf's first car a £130 1983 1l polo the begining of my dub obsession
we were driving down a quiet road fortunately and the biggest spider ive ever seen came crawling out the windscreen vents in the dash and scurried along the bottom of the window. My gf shat herself and decided to let go of the steering wheel (hands on face scared)
after a swift swerve into the middle of the road i had to grab the wheel yank it out of gear and use the handbreak to stop us she completly froze silly cow. After grinding to a holt she then decided to jump out the car grab a massive stick off the verge and started to have at it not actually making contact with it at all just scratchin the hell out of the interior.

The spider managed to escape the enslaught and ran under the drivers seat never to be seen again. It probably died of shock since she wasnt the nicest person in the first place and her wielding half a tree would have scared anyone

Needless to say the spider, girlfriend and car are now part of my past

haha, excellent thread!

when i had my mk3 gl a few years back, i one day noticed little bits of seat foam on the floor and all the wrappers and cups on the back floor were getting chewed, didnt really do much about it for a while, but once i put a mouse trap in i got 7 mice in 4 days!  i was doing 90 miles a day to work, probably the most travelled mice in the uk

cheers

Ok, I haven't found anything living in mine... BUT.

I looked under the seat about a week after I bought it and found a cigarette lighter plug with a wire going under the seats, wondering what it was I swiftly plugged it it to find...

ucking LED Lights under the pedals and dash, drivers and passengers sides, red like the car.

Needless to say I only plug them in if I drop something at night...
