espeically at renewal and the APR % rate if going by direct debit

Mine just came thru from HIC

43.2% APR

JESUS H CHRIST

and thats ao a small amount so all you youngsters paying £ks of premium are getting raped.

Shop around , I REFUSE point blank to pay that much interest. cheaper to pay on me credit card.

But I will not be renewing on priciple now

Christ! Is that like when you pay monthly?

I was lucky and my gran paid for mine and I gradually paid her monthly so that i didnt pay over the odds like that..

That is bad I'll check my policy with HIC , I'm stuck as I need to pay by DD. Won't be going back if it is that amount. Could save me a fortune.

Mines going to be 37.7% APR, is that included in the monthly instalments?

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

hmmm this is worrying. Mine is due for renewal with HIC in Feb and I was hoping to pay monthly instead of one lump sum. Although it's not a lot at around £400 (hopefully) I doubt I'll have it spare... I guess the amount of money they will make themselves on the APR will outweigh the amount of custom they will lose over this...

I put money away every month into a "Car" account which is used just for the car (service work, oil top up, insurance renewel). Its a fantastic idea and every year I can just pay the insurance in one lump sum :)
