New turbo arrived. (update)

A tiny little nut caused all the damage, but the new turbo is on !
Initial thoughts.. certainly holds the boost all the way up the revs unlike the standard K03 that drops off around 4.5k.
Isn't noticably faster apart from that, however a custom remap should sort that out ! Much more noticable turbo whistle now, and that's never a bad thing.
Going out shortly to try and run it in as much as possible before heading for AmD tomorrow morning !

have you got a price on a custom map yet? and how does them?

ill probably go to jabba (about same price as a revo) unless revo get anywhere with their big turbo software. something else i found out while out driving, the DV is a lot louder, making a blow off noise. I wondered why everyone i drove past turned their heads, so i turned the stereo down and opened the window, pshhht !
