Bitten by the bug.
« on: 28 September 2008, 18:30 »
Well hello there, I posted a thread a while ago and ended up purchasing a few products to get me started. Grit guards, Chemical Guys Maxi Suds 2, Wool Mitt, Drying Towel etc...

What im after is your opinions on these products.

Chemical Guys M-Seal
Valet Pro Bilberry Wheel Cleaner
Chemical Guys Wheel Guard
4 x Foam Wax Applicator
Chemical Guys Scratch and Swirl Buff Polisher
Chemical Guys - XXX Hardcore Paste Wax

All this comes to £61.75

If your would highly recommend a product over any of these then please do...have to be roughly in the same price bracket.

Oh and theres also a charity detailing day next sunday in Keighley, Yorkshire if any one is interested - http://www.astraownersnetwork.co.uk/showthread.php?t=46924
sorry but my vaux looks far better than the mk5 gti, thats why i bought it  faster too

Chemical Guys Scratch and Swirl Buff Polisher
Chemical Guys - XXX Hardcore Paste Wax

i love both of these products, smell gorgeous too haha

for the scratch and swirl remover to work for removing scratches u need the yellow aplicator pad, otherwise its just like a regular polish, but a good one at that, as i said before, i love both the products

m-seal is a good sealent!! i use it before i wax. cg factory seal, jetseal 109.

recomend collinite 845 insulator wax, an extremely easy wax to apply and remove, protects your car for up to 12months.
for a mega glossy shine i'd recomend dodo juice soft wax range.
or poorboys natty's blue paste wax.
