i know to do it properly you need a plastic primer but not sure about the paint.

fear is temporary, regret lasts forever...

aslong as you key the plastic well and use plastic primer most base coats should work!

I'm pretty sure you dont need specific plastic paint.
But it should be the old heat resistant stuff.

So long as you prepare the plastic well and lightly wet/dry paper between the paint should be a-okaii

i dont think ht paint is necessary, nor is plastic primer. You can use regular paint and primer, but you will defo get a better finish with plastic primer. Oh and be careful sanding plastic, as it tends to go fluffy, which is bad news if it does.

Sand back each layer and you keep it smooth and it should look good, regardless of type of paint/primer. Just be patient and take your time.

yeah my rocker is normal rattle can...and is still good after several months, all though I would use some plastic primer over wise its likely to react when painting (and making a mess!!)
