I'd check the advert. If they are selling it as genuine carbon fibre on ABS plastic, then you have been mis-sold. It does look the part from the distance shots  and should repair quite easily with some epoxy resin applied to the rear of the crack and some fibre-glass wool as a bridge, but you will still be able to see the crack slightly from the front. I'd be tempted to contact the seller to see what he says. The weave on geniune carbon-fibre goes in both directions and not just in one direction. You can also see the individual fibres on genuine CF.

....This is real too : -

Sorry, this probably isn't that helpful but it's as the others say - It's down to the supplier/shippers to replace - That's why you paid for insurance during shipping.

SEND IT BACK.  IT IS BROKEN.  IT SHOULD NOT BE BROKEN.

DO NOT FANNY AROUND REPAIRING IT.

Sorry for shouting, but the item is clearly not of "merchantable quality".  It should be "free from minor defects" - that huge fookin crack is clearly more than a "minor" defect.  Therefore it wants returning to the supplier (at their cost), and either exchanged for another item, or a full refund issued.

Hope you get a positive outcome from Fischer with this as they can be difficult when dealing with "faulty" products.
