slightly easier but as long as you have the matchin ign key from the mk3 the imob ecu setup is also fine!

im planning on buying a whole car, so it shouldnt matter wat it is,

is it the same story if i was to get a seat cordoba or similar?!

may as well hijack this thread - is this the same situation for the 2E engine regarding the rev counter - the Mk2 clocks I have are speedo and clock, so I've got a separate rev counter ready to go in....

depends if you're running it on mk2 digifant mangment with digi head or oem 2e stuff.  even with a seperate rev counter you really want to get the proper rev signal to the clocks otherwise the oil pressure warning circuit wont work properly.
