I used FSD's on my first GTi with eibach springs, the dampers were spot on giving a much more controlled ride, but we had an issue with the rear ride height which was put down to the rear springs, which I believe has been sorted now.
I'm considering FSD's for the S3
....I know of several people who had issues on the rear in the early versions (if it's the same issue).
I'm surprised you're considering the FSD's, gaz - I thought of you as having more 'hardcore' mods. Not that the FSD's aren't really good and a positive improvement over stock but they aren't as good for track just because you can't adjust them.
I believe that some of the 'supercars' such as the McLaren have FSD's as stock - Needs confirming though.

Btw, I'm staying well away from you guys with the modded S3's - In some ways too tempting!
I only like to mod if its an improvement, the only reason I went coilovers with the GTi was the ride height issue with Eibach springs. We spend 99% of the time on the road dealing with sh1t surfaces that are our roads, so if i could get the ride height spot on with springs and FSD's I would go for it, the only problem is you don't know untill you've tried it. Unless you let someone else do it first and iron out all the problems, just like neg did:laugh:
