Window Tinting

Because of our impending arrival my wife has expressed an interest in having our rear windows tinted, after seeing that our next door neighbours' GT has them.

Can anyone tell me what level of tinting the GT has, how I can get it done on my GTi, and roughly how much I can expect to pay?

personally i would replace the rear screen with a factory fit tinted glass, as filming the rear glass due it its curve, you will have a white line around the edge which doesnt look good at all. My 1st GTi was done and wished id done a rear screen change and just tint the sides with film.
Expect to pay around £250 on average. Mine also had the fronts filmed but with a clear UV filter film so to keep within the Law.It helped keep the inside temp down cus like you i had a todler to consider and with full leather can be hot in the summer (thats if we ever have one again)
