Carbon Fibre Roof Skin GB
« on: 15 September 2008, 13:07 »
As per title someone on Ed38 is trying to sort out a GB on Carbon Fibre Roof Skins if anyone is interested. If he can get 5 or more people they will be £400 each.

You need to be registered and logged in to see that thread on Ed38!

And why would you want to add additional weight so high up?

Thats correct you do need to be a registered member to see it and as for adding weight again yes you are right. Personally CF doesnt do it for me but as I know people on here like it I thought I would share it with them.  :embarassed:

.... x2

I know that some may say that I'm one to talk, but adding rather than replacing with carbonfibre simply doesn't make sense other than pure cosmetic effect. My nose piece is my only add-on CF, the rest is all replacement.

I would imagine it was just a carbon fibre skin, which sits on top of your existing steel roof, but how the edges are feathered in, who knows.  I reckon that particular project would look really chav!
