If so, are they any good? With winter setting in, it'd be nice to be able to see more than three feet ahead of me, but i never fancied trying to botch a new loom myself because i'm a complete incompetant when it comes to electrics (and mechanics and...).

A member from here, Godzilla, made and fitted mine. Worth giving him a shout

and yes they do make a difference, I also have the Xenon 60/55w bulbs so the road looks whiter.

Yeah I bought those from ebay, didnt know about the guy thats making them on here at the time.

Loom from ebay is good quality, cant fault it at all. What a difference it made to my lights!! Put in a set of osram nightbreakers at the same time, is one of the best mods I've done on the car.

Was really easy to fit too, took a mate and myself 10min tops (with limited electrical knowledge) :D

Perfect, thanks everybody. Will be buying this tonight. I'll have a look for some osram nightbreakers too.  I presume i just order whatever size the standard bulbs are - i'll check my haynes manual.

I'm pretty sure its H3's and H4's you need...best double check that tho.

H4 for the normal headlights and H3 for the spot lights if you have them.

£30 for an uprated loom! If your good with electrics then make your own.

They are worth fitting. You get about 10v on the normal loom and way more with the uprated loom. Makes a huge diffrence as the power is direct

Mine was free as i made it out of vag spares and used this guide

I bought one from ebay a little while ago. I didn't pay that much for it though. A tenner I think. Its fitted but not yet tested as I'm doing loads of other things to the shed, but I will let you know.
