Great - anyone got a gearbox..

^ no mate it started whirring Monday, when jacked up, you could hear it cluncking when you turned the wheel!  An explosion can't be too far off, so I think it's for the best..

Think I'm going to take it to the place I know.  Prob not the cheapest, but at the same time, I'll have some comeback, and they may do me some discount for cash

Where's this place in derby guys and whats it called im just up the road and always on the lookout for new vw garages/shops/whatever?

I'll tell you after I've collected my gearbox so no-one else nabs it before me 

Think I'm going to DIY fit it now...  Anyone got any tips/links??
