RHS drivers door dropped on mk3 golf gti - help please
« on: 10 September 2008, 13:38 »
My RHS drivers door has dropped on my golf. This is noticeable when you see that the rubbing strips on the door do not line up with the matching rubbing strip on the rear fender. I will try and post a photo later. Looks like the door just needs loosening, lifting and retightening. Does anybody know how I do this without losing any set between the door and front fender? At work on the production line the rolling of a door is a tricky process and takes time and technique so reluctant to take door off totally as I might not get set back to this condition. Your help would be greatly received.

Currently if not too much effort isn't given to shutting the door because it is dropped the door doesn't appear to line up with the door pins correctly!
