1300 lowering springs, 80mm??
« on: 02 September 2008, 23:11 »
This is for my mates 1.3 golf. his got 195/50/15s with apex shocks and wants to drop as low as poss without forking out for coilovers, so is thinking 80mm springs. any one got any advice please. noticed that then venom motorsport springs say they dont fit 1.1/1.3/g60/16v models. why is this? is this relating to the standard shocks that were on the car???

I'd suggest hottuning coilies for about £150 off ebay, if anything
He'd need uprated shocks with springs any lower than like 50mm anyway!
Advantage of coilies is he could adjust them so he can get the car to sit just the way he wants
