i find the ed30 quite loud as standard, see what its like after you get it and its run in, then if its not sporty enough then its Miltek imo

i wouldnt even consider cutting and wealding... isnt there meant to be a back presure too with zorsts, surely that would screw it up... also the wealds in the pipe isnt going to be good for it...
as i said, it really need several k to set in

With or without the resonator is fine otherwise Miltek wouldn't give the option
Agree on welding it, if you've not got the car yet dont even think about anything like this - if you want more noise further down the line then just get a cat back non-res miltek and do it properly

Its only a second silencer is it not? Taking out the backbox, now there's something crazy.
Anyway, think the answer is do it properly if your going to do it.

Or buy a nearly new complete ED30 exhaust and do it to that, if its no good you can put the original back on. Now let me think where you could get 1 of those from?
