Throttle on Golf MK4 GTI TURBO

Does anyone know if the 1.8 turbo mk4 golf is cable throttle or electronic?

Both! Depends on which engine you have. Whats your engine code?

its ok, just found out that if i have an EPC light on ignition, its electronic, i have so thats fine lol, looking to fit cruise control as my indicator stalk is scwered!!   Thanks anyway.  I believe it to be AUM anyway.

Wicked, thanks mate.  So ill be getting myself electricuted in a couple weeks lol. Anyone you know done this on the 1.8 turbo already?  I have to wire in an additional loom lol.  Oh god!!
