I'd like to take my brake disks off and give them some treatment as even after being replaced once I'm fed up looking at rust on a 5 month old car!?Sorry to hijack the threat, but my rear disc's are really starting to turn very rusty now , will the dealer do anything about this?I had them swapped out under warranty, all 4, but 2 months later and they are even worse than before. I'm going to try and find some good heat proof paint if anyone has any recommendations, and post a guide including masking templates you can print off and cut out for the disks. Thanks NewGolf. That sounds like a more sensible plan.Does anyone know if you need a special tool for the rear brakes to turn the piston when pushing it back in before reassembly? I dont think you need it to just remove/replace the brake disks, just undo the caliper and the 2 torx screws. But I believe this would do the job if you did need onehttp://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/store/product.php?xProd=6809&xSec=150
