do I need to change brackets or anything as I have big bumpers on already thinking about putting the small ones on with the red stripe

geniune big bumpers have different side clips where they slot on. the pattern ones i had on my last golf used the same side clips as the small bumpers. there's a guide with pictures on mateymatey if you search google, but obviously read it in reverse.
