golf driver mk2 - window winder mechanism

Bummer - had to call RAC to get my window jacked up when I was visiting MK at the weekend.  Wound the window down when speaking to a chap at a barrier and bummer ! the window wouldn't wind up .... anyway - dropped my missus and daughter at the MK Centre and called the RAC who came very quickly.  Had done the disassembly and had the window jacked up so I could get up the M1 home to Selby without the wind whistling in !

All i'm looking for now is a new moisture barrier and the window mechanism - any ideas - will VW have either or is it down the scrappies ?

Try the classified sections on the forum, there are usually some cars being broken etc or try Ebay, scrappies or the stealerships.

Yeh find someone who is breaking a mk2. I replaced all my door seals and windown seals for a 5a. He was a mate tho
