hiya ppl, just got a 2001 golf 4motion in silver recently, come with 17" santa monicas as standard, needs refurb as bit of laquer has peeled.
so question is what do i do, what looks best??? i know its personal preferance, but any pointers welcome.
torn between refurbing the santa monicas, and putting a couple of tyres on them,going bit thin on 2.
set of the new shape gti rims in 18's or 19's
set of RS6 19" alloys (already have a set)
or a set of 18" inovit deep dish alloys that i got with the car,they are 8.5 wide so not sure if they will fit straight on??? pretty sure they just need a slighty wider tyre
really dont know what to go for, RS6 19's seem tempting, as have them ready to go on, but they are getting a bit common now on the golfs and a3's etc.....
and then the new shape golf rims look nice, but will again prob get common soonish.
arrr, choices, choices!!!
or just stay nice and standard with the 17's and get em refurbed.
