rear badges

Im after a new golf gti badge for my mk2 gti. For the rear.

2 things

1. Where can i get an original one, other than VW

2. Are they stuck on?

oh and my front vw badge on the grille is black, should that be silver or black?

You might try some google activity dude.
The rear badges are attached via pegs into the bodywork,as for the front that seems to depend on year and my anorak is at the cleaners right now!

Hi Nath,

My rear is stuck on, and I have a black VW badge too. This is more down to personal taste than anything else as I wanted a black badge. 

E-bay is a good source for MK2 badges. There is always a selection of new one on there.

im happy with a black one, as the old vw badge thiefs still are known to operate round my parts.

simple solution to the badge thieves is to just de-badge it

Ive seen some nice 1's on ebay they got some nice chrome rear badges suppled with clips they just pop on in 2 tics.
Ive also seen new black front badges and some mk5 front gti badges to for all golfs they look sweet and there cheap.
And gti side badges new for a couple of quid.

Hope ive helped take it east.......DM
