Sold my car today..
« on: 07 April 2004, 19:34 »
Yep.. my cars gone unfortunatly, got good money for it so I thought why not let it go. Going to see another one tomorrow, same Y plate 1.8 20V Turbo 3dr with 29.000 miles on it. But this ones Antracite grey, I prefer it to Silver because theres too many silver ones around and I thought why not have a change. (no offense to owners with a silver Mk4  ;D) I think that a Antracite gray mk4 will look amazing with an R32 kit. Let you know what happends.  ;)

Good luck with the new project, will you be aiming for the same sort of performance ? Or maybe a little something extra ?

I don't quite know yet, I might keep away from the engine mods for a while as I have just been rewarded with 6 points and a fine for speeding. All I'm going to do for now is the R32 kit, might re-map the ecu, don't know yet. I'll have to have a look at the financial side as I am in the process of purchasing a house  :D

Will keep you updated

I was thinking of getting the 4-motion, but I can't get insured on it. And yes I did make a few extra pennies  ;D, sold it for ?15,700. Faster & better than a R32 without the hefty price tag, insurance & fuel  ;D ;D ;D

Hello chaps, Finally got me new car on Sunday ;D, gone into the body shop to have the kit fitted (kit should be here on Friday) and have the front grill de-badged (have to fill the cut out in the bonnet and bumper). Theres a couple of light scratches and little dents so gonna have them done. Will have pics soon. Had a bit of trouble with pics before, but I think i've solved the problem

Thanks

I gave my car to a mate of mine who had it done to his car and told him to do the same thing on mine. ABD Racing, Cost around ?1100 all in. You only get the most out of the turbo if you've got standared 16"s on
