K4ith - gutted for you , I know how you feel though. Always park mine miles away from anyone else but a few weeks ago I'd parked outside my business premises and when I went to lunch saw a 6 inch gash along the passenger door rub strip .It was a very windy day so some idiot must have let go of a door into mine - absolutely gutted. After I'd calmed down I thought It could have been worse,just a minor paint of the rubber strip. Only when the sun caught the door at a different angle did I see the 3 dings in the door!!!
This made me sick to my stomach.I've had my car from new and have really looked after it for nearly 3 years ,only for some thoughtless moron to do this !
Dentmaster had a go - not much improvement . It looks like an insurance job !! My excess is £500!!
Think i'll wait till renewal and get a lower excess.Just have to drive around with a less than perfect car for a month or so. To top it all I have managed to scrape 2 different alloys in a week ! (own fault what a tw*t)
