hallo people, my heater fan only works on 1 speed, any ideas?

have you checked the relays and fuses?

if you have it sounds like the switch is broken

resistors.....search

its usually the resistor in the fan. remove the plug then the plate that has the socket attached to it and thats what you are looking to replace. not got any pic though. I'm sure someone will have. you can get them separately without having to buy the fan. i had one for the wifes gti of the bay.

Sod that £17.00+ for a few risistors mate listen go to a junk yard  rip one out of any golf MKII and pull the two contacts off and presto! I got these off a junk yard for £10.00  :wink:Yes blower included and tested on the premises.



If your a LHD the blower is no use as the fins are facing the wrong way so it sucks instead of blows LOL!
