Vag com help

Im looking at getting vag com but im not sure why its £200 on the proper website, and its onlt about £10 on fleabay (i guess its different software )?, anyone got it and where did you gt it and what did you pay ?

£10 leads only work with the free version.

the license for the full version is built into the real VAG COM lead hence why they are £200.

there are ways around this if you search the internet hard enough 

I got the full version and can thoroughly recommend it saves a trip to the dealer and being fleeced everytime they hook it up   also you can do your mates VAG cars for a few beer tokens  you'll soon make your money back

as Rhyso has already said the ebay ones will only work with the freeware version / hacked version, the MK5 also uses the CAN interface so you'll need a lead with hex + can

what is it you're wanting to do with vag com as there are loads of people with full vag com now (myself and rhyso included)

If its only for the Mk5 generation of VW's you can use the Micro-CAN which is a bit cheaper.
