Right this problem is now back with avengeance!!!

When i hit 3000rpm exactly the car judders/stutters pretty violently. When the engine is cold it doesnt do it. When the engine is upto FULL temperature it doesnt do it. It is only doing this whilst it is warming up.

I have replaced ECU and Fuel relays and cleaned the throttle body as well. Anyone know what to do? Its p!ssing me right off

Cheers

Have you had the codes read..? What about your vac lines did you replace them..? If you've not done either i'd suggest that that should be your next port of call.

My gti 16v was stuttering and cutting out a few months ago, a new fuel pump relay stopped the cutting out when the car had warmed up, and a new coolant temp sensor fixed the car spluttering and cutting out when cold..

having read all of your posts i was thinking you had the same problem as me... the bit about the 3000rpm just confirms it! if you leave the car running idling, when you go to move off, do the revs practically die? when mine does this, if i'm sitting at say 3000rpm in second for example and then floor it quickly, i get a series of backfires and then holds back for a second and than accelerates as normal... rather annoying and sounds very chav, although its funny watching chavs at the side of the road sh!t themselves when it backfires
