my prev car, seat leon mk2 fr had this too, after market discs go the same way too, only way round it is get alloy covered discs or paint them, surprised VW entertained that tbo.I did it on my last car but cant be ass'd this time.

Looks good - thought the discs had been done.  Your dealer is spot on (unlike mine) - have you put a lot of business their way or is just they appreciate good customer service works!  Next you will tell us you got R32 for courtesy car

no i got a 57 plate golf gt tdi 170 manual!, oh i hate using a manual!!!!, its absolutly pants in comparison. brisk burst of excelaration for about 1500 rpms and then just has no more go to it. my passat with the same engine wsith dsg was alot more fun to drive.
