Gsf sell the lock mechanism complete for ?15, ive replaced the tailgate on my car, the replacement was a central lockin one, dont need the lockin bits so you can have the mechanism n vacuum cylinder if you like!

no need for the vacume bits as I have electric solenoids in my car. Could do with the linkage tough. I'll have a look what the scrapper wants for them.

As your using an electric solenoid all you need to do is source a central locking boot lock and rig that up so it works as per factory spec.
