Should these really be there ???

I removed the gaitor from the gearstick yesterday to have a boggle at it, and to my amazement I found a load of packing bits.  Y'know the stuff looks like mini Prawn Craackers and Wotsits.

So should it be there or is something spooky ben hurring ???
