Folks.
I suspect that something like this has already been asked but I can't find the exact problem I need help with so.......
I have a mk2 which leaks water into the front footwells. I have located the trouble to two areas under the bonnet. They are either side of the engine bay, adjacent to the inner wings and just before the scuttle. The near side area is a deep recess that has a pipe going through. The off side is another recess that has some kind of electrical assembly house in a plastic case. Both of these areas were inches deep in water that I had to soak out with a cloth. It seems that there is nowhere else for the water that runs off the scuttle to go.
I would be eternally grateful to any one who can help solve this problem.
