Removing plastic wheel arches

Hi how do you remove the plastic wheel arch covers? are they just glued on or somin?

forgot to say its for a mk3 gti, iv seen alot alot without them so it cant be hard

they have small rivets on the inside wing lip that need gently drilling out... oh and you'll need a new front wing rub strip (most gl/driver ones are same width or go for a full cl kit)

Cl Kit? sorry im new to this? so will it leave holes and need to get it all smoothed and painted over?

No it wont leave holes  exept in the front wing as the side rubbing strip is attched to the arch...hence you'll need one from a non arched car (and there are 5 different width's depending on model)
