No power and lots of back firing!
« on: 07 March 2008, 16:57 »
hi, my 2E GTI has no power what so ever!  my 1.4 pulls harder!   Also if im in over run i get allot of pops and backfiring!  but the engine ticks over and runs nicly.  I cant get my head arround it!

What should i be looking at?   Fueling,  timing, etc..?   Nothing has been changed since it was last working as far as i know,  other than being sat for a few months!   i just changed the gearbox  :undecided:

Cheers
