That's funny:

My favourite times are when I can drive enthusiastically, but Brits' favourite time is when they can bring out their buckets, clay bars etc etc and give themselves to their favourite hobby - cleaning cars.

It goes quicker when it's had a good days working at cleaning and polishing and waxing, a good wax should last most of the summer as well
TFR is a traffic film remover or use a tar remover on the bonnet to get rid of most of the fly and then get a clay bar and some quick detailer and go over the bugs it should pull the residue off and then a bit of a polish and a waxing should make them easier to get off next time
