Just to keep you guys posted...VW Called and said the car has indeed left Germany and is on its way to Gibraltar. Only problem is it will get here via the canary islands so it will be shipped to canary islands then shipped down to cadiz (Spain) and then from Cadiz it will be brought to Gib on the back of the trailer...give me 2-3 weeks  :evil: Soooo excited!  :smiley:

Ofcourse ofcourse...there is no rush to get from A to B, aswell i cant really afford to have any accidents...it will result in not getting insurance again on a car like that :(

When you first push the R.. there is a split second which I call sh1t your pants time, where you feel the power being adjusted.. so just be careful until u get to know how it reacts :wink:

Ahhh i remember the morning before mine came! The longest 16weeks ever... Didnt sleep a wink! Dont forget to do all your check before you zoom off into the sunset! :grin:

I actually got my dad to drive it home so I could follow and look at it in all its heavenly glory :cool:

Sounds like a plan but where we have the parking for the R is about a minute from the VW Dealership...you pull out and take your first right lol....was looking at the sticky thread of the checks some people do when collecting their R...am thinking of printing this and taking it with me  :smiley:
