As someone else said on this subject, cheapest might not be the best. You are only likely to find out if you make a claim. Recently Post Office insurance cancelled my policy due to an admin. error and left me driving uninsured. I received the letter informing me 2 days later.
True - everyone is price focussed when it comes to insurance and it really is when something goes wrong you find out if you should have spent the extra £60 on the other quote. The other way to get the quote down is bump up the voluntary excess, you get an immediate saving just make sure you don't need to claim! You only seem to get resonable excesses over 21.
