Which cleaners?
« on: 25 February 2008, 14:55 »
So i took of my K&N cone today to fit it propperly again.

Cleaned my air flow meter with some WD40.

Had a look into the throttle body, and well, it looks

I guessed i shouldnt use WD40 to clean that aswell, so i didnt. What should i use? As ive never cleaned one before...  :embarassed:

Take the whole thing off (4 hex bolts) then clean it with all out from both sides of the butterfly to do a proper job. Get a cotton bud in the vac takeoff pipes too to make sure they're not bunged up. I used flash oven cleaner on mine and wire wool lol came up a treat!
