Noisy power steering when cold
« on: 19 February 2008, 13:35 »

On my V5, when cold the power steering is noisy, but after 5-10 mins of driving it goes quiet.

What can it be?

Not as daft a suggestion as it may sound. If the level drops even slightly the PAS gets noisy.

my van sounded like an electric car because of the power steering fluid being low, so check that 1st not as exspensive as the whole pump
I must warn you I'm about as decisive as a 5 yr old in a sweet shop!!
