Need a quote from HIC
« on: 07 February 2008, 23:14 »
I'm 18 with 1 years no claims (as a named driver via direct line). I drive a mk3 1.8gl ('96) and the insurance is up for renewal in a couple of weeks. I want to modify my car slightly (lower, alloys and backbox) but my Dad is insisting that I get insurance that will cover these mods (I can't argue as he's paying the bulk of it). Just wondering if Martin could give me a quote (no named drivers) as I've been told that the online quotes aren't as accurate. Cheers in advance, Tom
P.S. Got a quote from Endsleigh of £1300 although I don't know if they cover mods. Renewing the insurance with direct line is going to be £900 but they don't let you mod your car until you're 25 or over

The online quotes are rubbish, just ring up and speak to Martin.
