lowering golf mk3
« on: 19 February 2008, 18:35 »
hi,

i have just been offered some lowering springs for my 1.4 mk3 golf for £20 brand new, i figure i mite aswell get them untill i can afford some hottuning coilovers, but i wanna no if they are hard to fit as its not worth me paying loads of money to fite them if i only keep them for 6 months, it would be good if i could fit them myself,

is this hard to do for someone who isnt a mechanic???,
wot tools are needed??

thanks

spring clamps compress the spring -if didnt use these and undone the nut you would have no face left(fronts)

vw still do camber/tracking
