yeah for some reason VW seemed to mix up all the different colour variations of badges in a big bucket and let a blind monkey choose which went on each car....As you'd expect, he didn't do to well.
There maybe some loose pattern to it, but it's no hard and fast rule. Best way to tell is the kW rating on the label in the boot well....to be fair noone told the monkey this.
