Chrome B-sting ariel?

Will a B-sting chorme areial be ok to replace it? aslo where can i buy one from other than e-bay?

personally (!) the beesting will look cack on the wing. there's a corsa van in my street that has a chrome beesting on the wing, looks guff.

both my 8v gti's have been converted to the vw beesting on the roof. The project has had the wing blanked off with a bung, the other has just been snapped off leaving the base of the original ariel in the wing.

how do i go about relocating it to the roof mate?

why do you need an ariel? do you listen to cack on the radio? why not invest in having the hole filled up with weld, smoothed and painted, then buy an ipod or simular and download some form of itunes...

too true, my ariel doesnt even work, it did, but suddenly stopped. I have a 6 disc changer so almost as good. 

and dubsport, my cars came like that so i have no idea!!!

seems more hassle than its worth though, a risk of the new ariel hole rusting if not sealed/finished properly plus taking off the headlining....

dont listen to the radio in my driver coz it doesnt work ... i have the Ipod hooked up in my driver so i might just transfer everything over in July ... what kinda price am i looking at to get it blanked off?

you could buy a rubber bung for a few quid

or have it welded and sprayed £Â£Ã‚£ - see if your local body shop will do it for cash (*cough* no vat)

il pop along to a body shop, see how much they would do it for if its expensive il buy one of those
