Anyone fitted a KO4 to their golf?wot else would I need to change i.e. intercooler etc?I don't have an exhaust or remap....Yet (fookin insurance company!) but am just thinking of changing turbo instead! Any info would help! Can anyone guess on prices or tell me what they paid.

most of the pipework i believe; its not worth the hassle or the cost; you'd be better off going aftermarket really.

Also you'd still have to inform your insurance and its likely the premium will go up more than if you had it remapped.


Remap = biggest bang for your buck :afro:

Even if you change the turbo you will need to get it remapped anyway so your not really saving any dosh.

Get a remap on your current set up, well worth the dollars!
Will always love my mk4 but she had to go...225 Quattro TT in its place....but its still black (she lives on in spirit!)
