V-belt cover

Has anybody fitted a cover for the v-belts. According to vagcat.com - see

there is one that is universal fit for all Mk2 Golfs and the Jetta. Should there be one as standard cos mine certainly hasn't got one.

At the moment with all this sh?@t weather around there is loads of road dirt thrown up by the belts onto , well, everything.

Has anybody fitted one of these - I don't want to splash out 20 squid odd only to find they don't fit.
