Red, we're not talking about slamming the car to the ground, 30mm lower leaves plenty of ground clearence and suspension movement. As for the spacers, not sure myself, but would only be talkin about a small ones, maybe 6mm just to fill the arches a litlle better.

....Make sure they are the right kind of spacers - It's important. I've got to dash out now and don't recall exactly which type you should use - Awesome will probably know.

Your talking about hubcentric ones pal, meaning they still have the centre spigot which engages in to the centre of your wheel and takes alot of the loads and forces of the wheel, with the wheels bolts just holding the wheel in place.
