With regard to the CO2, I was worried about my car taking it in to the local council place, and the guy said as there is no catalyst I don't need to worry about the emissions test.  Neither of your cars will have one.

The car flew through, after only needing a CV boot replaced, which was done within 24hrs, that's all I've spent on it since I got it.

my car just had an mot and i had to have an emissions test..failed miserably first time but after playin with the air flow meter we got the co2 down to nothin but the hyrdocarbons shot up, so revved to burn those gases and passed..surely every car cat or not should have emissions tests?

anyways so that guide worked a treat then jammac?? i have still got to do that but i aint got round to it yet :(

im based near in East Grinstead.... near Gatwick airport

yeah worked great you really need a gas tester though to get the best out of it. i did it without a few months back and it seemed to do the trick....lucky i tried the gas tester though before MOT as my car was blowing well over the CO limit 5% and it did smell a little rich.

i thought it was running fine until yestday!
