Exhaust Rubbers
« on: 29 January 2008, 00:27 »
Question regarding above.
What sort do people use. How about Poly ones, are they stronger? Has anyone ever used stainless steel zip ties for strength?
Just wondering as i'm having a problem trying to make my Milltek hang straight.
Cheers

use the usual loop rubber  ones, then i genrally wrap a steel hose clamp around it(the ones you screw to make tighter(opposite of a woman))

usually makes it stay in place, but take your time cause if you dont do it right, you end up with the zorst banging on the bottom of the car and damn thats annoying!

noble tuned - and still not fast enough!

Yep. Thats mainly whats happening atm. Just can't get the back box to sit straight, seems to want to be at an angle and thats before i've even joined it up to the next section. My thoughts are that the hangers on the box itself have been put on wrong but apparently Milltek "dont make mistakes" and say i have to send it back for inspection which i can't do as the car is my daily.
Thanks anyway for the tip
